Well, our family vacation ended all to quickly. Why is it that it takes so long for it to come, but then whizzes by?? We loved Carmel so much that we actually decided to stay another night (Monday-Thursday). Glad I always pack an "emergency outfit & under-roos"... they came in handy!! The first day we went over to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Jennah LOVED watching the fish... most of which were bigger than her!
We got dinners to go and ate on Carmel Beach every night. Jennah couldn't get enough of the ocean... okay, we all couldn't get enough of the ocean. Let's not kid ourselves.
On Wednesday, we took Jennah to put her feet in the sand and touch the waves with her precious little tootsies. She just about jumped out of Andy's arms. She's too cute with her pink "Wee Shades" ("mom, do I have to wear these!?")
Thursday came way too quick... and now we're home, doing laundry and unpacking...wishing that we were still in Carmel. Someone needs to figure out how to bottle ocean air.
