Think Pink....

I went to change the blog backdrop to something "fall-ish"... but found this background. It made me postpone the fall theme....and remember those that we know personally who battle breast cancer. I have a dear friend who lost her battle with cancer, but she has left a legacy of love and sweetness that I'll treasure forever. I also have a friend that was just diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer about 3 weeks ago. I have so much to learn from these wonderful women. Courage, faith, strength, patience, .... the list could go on and on. I'm sure that we all know at least one woman that has been effected by this cancer. I'm not asking that you make a donation to a foundation... or anything like that... what I am asking is that you take the time to remember your dear friends & their families, in your prayers.

Great post! It's when we witness friends and loved ones suffering for whatever reason, we should really thank our lucky stars that we have our health...good economy or bad!

Totally! We have ALL been affected by cancer- both breast and otherwise.

If we really take time to think of all the women we know who have been diagnosed, the list gets bigger and bigger...we are all in this together.

Great post.
