That's it. I can't take this anymore. The bubble suits are coming out!!!
Not that Jennah is a terrible sick child. Quite the opposite! She still plays and never complains when she's running a 100+ temp. I never know when she's suffering. It's rather annoying. But I can't take this anymore... her being sick. Andy being sick. Me being sick. We seriously have all been sick since... oh early November! We catch one thing right after another. Last week we finished up the stomach flu... and now we're back on to a flu that involves a croup like cough. Andy's even stayed home for two days in a row. That's unheard of!!! I'm tired of this. WARNING: I am about to use this venue of blogging as an outlet to release my pent up lack of sleep... brace yourself. Disclaimer: I am speaking to the society as a whole... no one in particular!
If you're sick... stay home. Don't go to work. Don't go to school. Don't go to church. Stay home and take care of yourself. Slow down. Listen to your body.
Why don't people do this!??!? No, they chose to take the rest of our lives into their greedy hands and pursue on their routines of life... and making the rest of us sick. Wash your hands with soap OFTEN! Sing "happy birthday" while you do it (that's how long you should be washing with warm water!) Use hand sanitizer if needed. Cover your mouth when you cough. Are you kidding me!?!? I'm so locking my family in the house for 4 weeks just so that we can draw at least one well breath. I'm tired of seeing the pediatrician (although I love our Dr. B... he walks on water as far as I am concerned... I'll dedicate a whole post to him soon). I'm tired of experimenting with antibiotics and hoping that Jennah won't be allergic to them.

Amen Sistah, I totally agree with you. So sorry lots of jerks are getting your family sick. Hang in there, hopefully by the time the weather warms up and spring comes along, you all be have built up immunities.
i totally agree-some people are so inconsiderate! especially with the little ones!
Oh Beth, it gets worse. Nursery is the breeding ground for sickness. I'm addicted to hand sanitizer and I'm slowly getting my kids addicted too!
There are those people that are out, that have plans but don't cancel them even if they're running a temp...ugh! What gets me is when they sneeze (INTO THEIR HANDS) and don't excuse themselves to wash up or sanitize....sneeze into your elbow!!!
I know though that a lot of people are contagious before they even feel sick. That's what sucks.
You and the fam should go get some sunshine, take some relaxing breaths...and it does really help. Sunshine really is a great combatant to the cold...I promise, it's helped me a LOT!
But seriously, if you want a bubble, I might chip in a few bucks! haha
Juliann... I know that's what I've heard. Is there a law that says I have to take her to the nursery? If so... hmmm... I'm going to break it. I really can't afford her to go... Literally I have NO more sick time left at work. I can't afford her to be sick any more than she is now!
i hear you bethie. a few weeks ago matt came home from work and said this girl with laryngitis was at work and kept coming over and talking to them and also volunteered to go to a training meeting that matt had to be in. i was so mad and really wanted to have a word with her...
i can understand (like in this girl's situation) that sometimes people can't afford to miss work but seriously!! wear a mask, stay away from people, use hand sanitizer. that was just so rude of her. matt got sick a few days later but luckily we didn't catch it. i was SO mad when i thought matt had.
we should all blog about this, maybe more people would get the message! in the meantime, we hope you get better soon :(
we are having our healthies winter yet! knock on wood.... I think it because we moved and we have become homebodies... also Ellie thinks its a rule that she sings the abc song when we wash our hands!
Get well soon Valentines Day is coming up you have to kiss your sweetheart's
I soooo feel your pain! When Nina was in the nursery we caught a bug and it spread to all three of us every week. By the time it would be sunday we would be well again, only for a new bug to spread to us all over again! Thank goodness that family moved away... but darn it... Then they came back again! People are very inconsiderate of others when it comes to spreading germs! Make sure Jennah takes a gummy vit or something everyday! And you and Andy too! My worst fear is to bring something home to my family from working at the hospital.... Yikes! The handwashing thing is soooo important... And clorox wipes are the best thing ever...
