The Normans are stimulating the economy...

We're feeling very patriotic....
because we're doing our part to stimulate the economy..

We've purchased our very first home!!
(so bring on the tax credits!!)

We're movin' on up... to the East Side (of Fresno)!

After a very depressing and intense reality check of what it really would take to fix up a "fixer-upper" and then hearing all of the benefits of buying a new home, the choice was easy and clear.... we decided to get a brand new one for the same price as rent! (never thought we'd see the day that happened!)

This is what our new home looks like right now....

If only they would be okay with us pitching a tent right in the center of the lot.
I'm sure the neighbors would be fine with us using their potties in the middle of the night.
They all seem so nice!

This is what our house will look like in about 4 months...
(they will be breaking ground on Monday, March 23)

Our Lot is #128 on the corner of Leanna & E. Robinson,
right across the street from the park.

We even got to put the "sold" button on our lot!!

Jennah showing Poppy the park.

Picking out the colors for the exterior, cabinets, appliances, tile, grout, carpet, and granite...
Jennah LOVED "working" with all the samples!

That is so exciting!! Congrats! What ward will you be in? We hope to buy a new home soon. Our first home was built in 1959. It was not a "fixer-upper" but could use some updating. You will love having everything brand new!
