Andy's racked up enough PTO (paid time off) to take off over 4 weeks. I managed to talk him into using one of the four to take a Spring Break with me. A couple of months ago, the plan for Spring Break would have included a trip to Monterey, maybe even a camping trip or two.

But now, with our new home in the making, we will be using our "time off" to de-junk-tify our lives. Eight fun filled days of going through closets, boxes and shelves full of "I might need this someday" stuff. I've actually been in such a "spring fling" state of mind lately, I have the nerve to just dump everything in to black bags and walk it down to the dumpster. However, I will refrain only because we'll be concluding our "vacation" with a celebratory "Garage Sale" on Saturday.
We're looking forward to this monumentous event to help fund our own new garage opener. OOOOh... aaahhhh!... I know cool, huh? I never thought I'd be so in love with the idea of purchasing a garage door opener!Well... that's the latest news for us...exciting, I know. We're making our daily "drive-by" trips to the "lot" for our new home. It's amazing, something changes every time we go (yes, it's going to be the longest 4 months ever!) Today, they were putting in the stakes to support the forms for the foundation. We should have a foundation done by the day of our garage sale. Wow.

Yay! I really need to do that too, but all of my junk would take up a block! Have fun!
Just think of all the $ you will make at the yard sale...You know the saying, "One mans junk is another mans treasure"....just remember you promised me a pre-sale viewing!!!!
