Happy Mother's Day! ... weekend kick-off!

Tonight for date night, we started our Mother's Day celebration by having a picnic at "Jennah's Park" across the street from our new house. $5 foot-longs from Subway hit the spot... and fresh local-grown GIGANTIC strawberries for dessert! Mmmm... yummmy!

Jennah mastered what we call the "monkey girl" at "her" park (hanging from a bar)
... she was SO proud of her little self!

And of course, the house update...

PEEK-A-BOO!!
We can see you...through our WINDOWS!
And we've also got plumbing too!.... here's Jennah making sure that the pipes are secure in the master bathtub.

How fun! Jennah is so cute! I love the picture of your house with windows! How you will love to wash them through out the years!

Hmm, my secret to a clean house...well, since I've been pregnant, we eat off of paper plates..I hired one of the laurels (actually she's freshly graduated now) to come do toilets and floors and general cleaning for three hours once a week...and, I don't work outside the home, but have clients coming two mornings a week, that helps because I don't want them to think I'm a slob. Now you know all my dirty secrets! Laundry is a struggle, though...I have to fold 2 loads a day or it gets overwhelming - just wait until you have more than one kid!! I swear the laundry quadruples! I bet it will be so easy to keep your BRAND NEW house clean! I'm so excited for you:)

Man, do I miss the fresh fruit in California! Hey, I discovered that I live in the same ward as one of your former BYU roomates. Her name is Stephanie Loveridge. I don't know what her maiden name is. Remember her? She actually made the connection when she saw me on your facebook. Crazy world!
