It was a long week... here's a MASSIVE post....

Well... I'm back to work. 1 week down... 37 more to go. All is well this year. I have a wonderful schedule and can't wait to get to know the kids. Freshmen are the best! This next week I've got Jury Duty. I know... don't be jealous!!

Jennah's doing alright with preschool (the dropping off thing is getting somewhat easier each day, for both her and me). I LOVE her teachers (and their obsession with Lysol & bleach). She's moved from the "Ladybug" room to the "Butterfly" room officially, now that she's 2. They have wonderful activities planned for them and she's already got a group of little girlfriends that LOVE her princess backpack (as soon as I walk in to pick her up, they know which backpack belongs to Jennah and then brings it right to me).

The first day of school (it's the only picture we've got!)... she's worried about keeping her back pack on. Those packages of Costco wipes are heavy!
Jennah has spent the last week "studying" how all of her new toys work. She's often seen "modeling" her princess pink glitter shoes (which are helpful to keep track of.... just follow the trail of pink glitter... easy! Thanks mom!!)
Nothing sweeter than a girl loving on her daddy....

Jennah also got a "mo-mo" just like Poppy's and Dad's! She's absolutely fascinated with lawn mowers... not sure why.... but now she's got one to help "mo-mo" the yard... now we just need to get a dress for Andy to "mo-mo" in too!!

Jennah ate her first M&M's this week... they were so good... she got a case of the "oh this tastes so good I have to dance"!!!

Tuesday night I could tell Jennah didn't feel good... so began the doses of Tylenol... by Wednesday morning (her birthday!!) we were rubbing down VICKS and running the humidifier (thanks again, Grandma Francine! BEST gift ever!) I had to keep her home from school and Grammie came over to keep the Tylenol/Vicks/Tissue routine up. We had a mini-party for her... which included a CoolWhip frosted angel food cake and sorbet. She LOVED it!.... How did I get blessed with such a pleasant sick child!?!? She's my dream come true!!!
Then to top it off... Friday morning, Jennah woke up saying "ooo, ouch, ooo ouch!".... it's not broken... but she's managed to jam her toe in bed. By Saturday we have a multi-color footed child. As soon as she'll let us touch it.... we'll definitely be doing pedicures!!!

Feeling a bit better, Jennah and I had fun Saturday morning playing "beauty parlor" with our "stylist," Mandi. I LOVE that she's totally in to the zebra apron... and talking to Mandi. (Sorry about the sideways video... I have NO clue how to rotate it.... it was too cute not to post... just tilt your head to the right...)

Afterward, we were invited to Gammie's. She was having a church activity for the kids that she teaches each week... Pizza, pool,

... and a pumped up Uncle Travis who knows how to use a Slip N Slide like no one's business!
She thought that was the BEST! Just listen to her squeal!!

While we were at Gammie's house... Jennah found her cupboard of cookbooks. Jennah "reads" these cookbooks... as if she's deciding on what to make next. She will "ooo" and "ahhh" over the pictures... you can see that she's found something of interest in the "grilling" book. (In the above picture, you can also see a bruise on her left arm... that would be the side effect from her shot she got at her "Well Baby Visit" on Friday... that she wasn't so well for. It's been quite the week for her poor little body. A cold, jammed toe, shots... she needs a break!) Guess what we're going to be eating soon.... something from that cookbook! The girl has good tastes!.... just like her daddy! What can I say?

We aren't putting the slip-n-slide away yet...that was just way to cute to watch her with Travis. If she keeps hanging with Uncle Travis you are going to have one wild child.
