What are doing in between our posting updates?

A little of this and that.
That. is. all.

We've also been trying to keep a two year old little girl, who shouldn't be going outside to play in the cold weather (due to the pneumonia), busy. WHOA.

We've made cookies...

And no, those are not toe prints in the cookies...
just finger prints from "pushing" the cutter into the dough!

Jennah is a natural!... she frosted and decorated her cookie all by herself!

Don't forget the sprinkles! (We've been reading the books that Kohl's selling for their fundraiser... "If You Give a Cat a Cupcake"... thus, the sprinkles.)
YUMM... Delectable! (a word that we've learned from our Christmas Fancy Nancy book)
A Cookie Party with Uncle Travis and Val!

We also made it to the zoo. We didn't want to be outside for too long... so we decided on an annual pass so that we didn't feel like we had to stay long "to get our money's worth."
Jennah was mesmerized by the elephants...For Thanksgiving, Grammie Norie and Poppy Vern came over, along with Uncle Travis and Valerie. While we were doing the last minute preps for the "feast"... we pulled out the cardboard playhouse that they had over at Costco a few weeks back. It's completely blank white cardboard screaming to be decorated with crayons and paint... we opted for the crayons... and as you can see... it was a hit.

Jennah has made it a playhouse... for "Daddy and Daughter"...
Not sure who's enjoying the playhouse more?
Friday, we saw the BRIGHTEST rainbow EVER....
while we were out and about running errands with Uncle Travis.
Afterward, we went to the pet store to find a tenant for the fish tank...
this is what we found... on the way back to the fish department.
It was tough, but we finally made it to the fish department... where Jennah found a spot to talk to the fish....
We DID come home with a new family member.
I think he ("he" since he looks like he has a mustache) is happy to have a place of his own.

Also, we're contemplating (we=me) adopting a dog to our family. But after seeing this... it makes me wonder if we already have one?

Awww, I see you guys have been keeping busy! My blog update as of late would be horribly uninteresting. There would be no cute pictures, just me, with no makeup on, disheveled hair, pug fur everywhere, in front of my laptop working on school stuff. That would not make for interesting reading.

Kahlua the pug says hi, and she apparently needs a nap- like kids, I can tell when she's grumpy when she tries to bite my face. Ya. Just like kids.

I love the cookie pictures; and they say good help is hard to find. What's with the foot on the cuting board? Thanks giving at your place was obviously the place to be.

Love mom and dad
