Well this holiday... we were at the doctor's office before we were sitting down to a holiday feast!
... THANKFULLY!
All three of us have officially been hit by a very NASTY cold. Jennah started it, I was next (feeling sad that Jennah was that miserable and couldn't tell me)... and Andy's already poppin' Sudafed like candy. I'm thankfully on the mend...but Jennah's still running low grade temps, picky appetite, sleepy, and often seen running into walls like she's had one too many margaritas to drink. So off to the Doctor's we went, today.
Diagnosis?.... ear infection, upper respiratory infection... yeah, pneumonia.
(pause) ....Right, of course.
So in the spirit of Thanksgiving... I am grateful that we have a wonderful pediatrician.... thankful that I am on vacation this week, and seriously grateful for "grape" flavoring that they can add to medicine so that Jennah will take it. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
On a cute note...this is breakfast, fit for a princess (aka: a sick Jennah).... cherry 7up in a teacup and blueberry muffins on a matching saucer from Bunnies by the Bay (our FAVORITE store to visit in Washington, by Grandma Janet and Grandpa Dick's house). Don't forget the importance of having flowers on your table centerpiece. They're lovely to look at (and a "must have" in Jennah's book).

Your poor little Jennah has been sick so much in her short life. =( Hopefully 2010 will be full of good health for all of you. So sorry she is sick.
I hope the wee-one feels better soon....she has an immune system like mine apparently! All my love and hugs so Jennah-bean is feeling ready for turkey and all the fixins! :) You too kids..Sudafed like candy- haha
Hope everyone feels better:) We ended up in the Embassy Suites two blocks from that beach - apparently it's all about the cool glass elevator! And the couch bed and the extra room... you get the picture. Once we got there we saw the one on the beach and thought that would have been cool too...
