Waiting (not patiently) but BEYOND thrilled with the news!

Let me fill you in. Back when we bought our home, we chose a lot on the corner. We were told that it was a "bigger" lot. There was a "premium cost" on the lot, but we wanted the larger yard. Well then when we got a copy of the plot plan, there was a line running down our property. When we inquired what that line was, we were told that it was the fence line. WHOA!... It would take our yard from 20 x 60 feet to 5 x60 feet!!! 1200 sq. ft compared to 300 sq. ft. Shut the front door!! The part of our property on the outside of our fence would be our responsibility to maintain (mow, water, etc.)... for the beauty of the development. We were devastated, to say the very least. Evidently the cost for the "premium lot" was just because we'd have 2 neighbors instead of 3. A lot of homeowners said they'd love having a corner lot... so we kept the lot and adjusted our visions of the yard we thought we were going to have.
Three months later, last week, we were roaming around our house, trying to imagine where the fence would run THROUGH our property... when we noticed... sprinkler trenches and plant holes OUTSIDE of our fence line. Weird. Why would they do that?... but then... we thought WHAT IF!! What if they are going to put the fence where we originally thought!?!? COULD IT BE!?!? Well, by Friday morning, we had our answer!... YES!!! We DO have the yard we've dreamed about! We're totally in shock... and now SERIOUSLY CAN'T WAIT to move in!!! We've had the feeling a kid gets on Christmas morning, when he's opened the gift that he LOVED and HOPED for but didn't have any clue he was getting. We remind each other about 100 times a day (NO exaggeration!) "we have a backyard!" 5 MORE LONG DAYS!!!
